About the Author  

Dr. Emily McKnight, lovingly known as Dr. Em, lives in North Texas, with her devoted husband, three beautiful daughters, and one beloved son. With a Ph.D. in Family Studies and a Master’s degree in Psychology, she is currently conducting extensive research on sexual abstinence (including after debut) and its perceived impact on romantic relationships and marriage. In the next chapter of her life, Dr. Em will be the foremost authority on successful dating experiences for single Christian women who desire healthy relationships and, ultimately, marriage.
